L was working at a tanning salon and handsome Houdini was a regular. After a few sessions he began chatting her up, and they would regularly talk when they saw each other in the lobby.
Eventually, he asked her out - dinner at Pappasito's.
Date night came and all was going well. He was cute and so was she. The conversation was flowing, the flirting was flowing - everything was going well....or so L thought.
She excused herself to go to the ladies room, and upon her return, found the table empty. She sat down thinking he was in the restroom, so she waited. And waited. And waited.
After several minutes she asked a waiter to check the men's room, to make sure he was okay.
You already knew where this was going...he was gone. Disappeared out the door. Sticking her with the bill.
She never saw him again - never heard from him again. Ghosted and gone.
